Good interview. Nice job to Jester. Miri was fricken worthless.

I was a little dismayed by the fact that it seems like their might be some kind of civ-chip like protection, or safe zones. Unfortunately there was only one question on the subject and no follow ups. Ofcourse, Miri was asked if he had a follow-up to that question, but shockingly, he had none.

Overall, things sound good. Cant wait for beta!

Interesting stuff.
Confirmation of AI pirates.
Viable 3rd person combat for those who want it.
A fully customisable UI based in Flash.
Some limited customisation in game.
Similar ranking system.
Arties will be there tho perhaps a little differently.
No multi-person ships (yet).
Sentients in some form will be there.
No massive changes to death penalties.
All those lovely stats will be staying with the possibility they might mean more in game.
One of the more interesting aspects for me was the massive AI battles that may occur in times of war. Augmented with PC's this could be a blast!!!!

Very mouth watering. I especially like the descriptions of space and gates.

Think im being a bit pre coffee, how do you download the damn thing?

Been to the link been all over it and found Jumpgate Evolution stuff but nothing to do with the interview.
