I answered a question last night incorrectly in the MMORPG chat so I wanted to clear that up here.

Each faction is very militaristic and combative. I made those distinctions based on the generalized way each faction exists. So sorry about any confusion that may have caused.

So the factions are the same in Jumpgate Evolution as they are now...Sols the big trader type, Octs the big guns, and Quants the miners? Are the Hyperial and Amanth stations/races going to survive? Or even be playable?

Yeah, i'd say the quants are closer to religious zealots then space hippies. All my quant chars were RP'd as crazed religious fanatics on Jihad. =)

In fact, I don't see anything about Quantar that makes me think they are space hippies. It makes MUCH more sense if they are the religious wacky faction.
