It is my current understanding that anyone with an active Jumpgate Classic account at the start of beta will get a beta invite with the first wave of beta invites. Is that correct?

If that is correct, and say for example beta happens to start in June....is there anything else I can do that doesn't cost $10 a month to improve my beta-invite-getting chances? (and I do mean anything, wink wink)

Yes it is my understanding as well that classic players get the first wave of beta invites.

There may be something that you could do.

It's still in the planning stages though so I'll let you know what it is when it happens. *wink wink*

lol as soon as Beta invites start rolling out people will start reactivating their accounts. which isnt a bad way for ND to make some spare cash =). Nice strategy by them. I probly would if i had the money.

They never said current payers will be the only invites to the first beta. They just said they would be included. So let the air out of your heads.

Well, after missing two medals (ima bit of a shiney collector) both my accounts are staying active from now on. I hope more than expect that at least one of them will get an invite but if i were ND i would open up at least some of the beta invites to non-JGOers. It would be a better test environment probably.

By JGO do you mean Jumpgate, or Jumpgate Classic as they are calling it? I would be willing to bet that even though the current players are going to get in, there will more non current players. Or better put, those that haven't played Jumpgate from different communities. They are probably going to reach out to a lot of gaming communities.
