I personally think that $15/mo isnt THAT bad, if you consider the amount of gametime you get out of it. I pay that much for WoW and AH2. Of course, $10/mo is a lot more attractive, but I wont not play if its $15.

15$ is nothing for a month of playtime. I mean seriously... you go to the movies and spend like 8$ on a single ticket and are entertained for what??? 2 hours at most usually. Yet for 15$ a month you get easily over 30 hours of entertainment for the average player.

15$ is like hitting fast food 3 times a MONTH.
15$ is not even an entire meal at an average restaurant.
15$ is what a crappy steak costs at a joint with active health ordinance violations.
15$ makes my car go for like 3 days.
15$ is less than what most of us pay for beer in a single week.

C'mon... 15$ is not a lot for what you get. If your going to cancel your account because they raised the MONTHLY fee by 1 Starbucks coffee then you got other money issues and probably shouldn't be playing online games in your free time.

First off, with the crap that hollywood is spitting out these days, I don't go to the movies. I havn't gone to the movies in over 2 years. I've downloaded maybe 3 movies in that same time.

I'd rather eat than play a game.
15 bucks will get my car going for a few days, thats how I get to work, its NEEDED.
I don't drink beer, but I smoke through more than 15/week

But think of this way.

You can go get Counterstrike off steam for a couple months worth of monthly subscription and play it for FREE from then on. I've logged twice the hours in CS:S than I did in Jumpgate Classic, and I only paid a small amount of money for it.

Actually, $15 will be a real bargain to many players who have maintained multiple accounts -- assuming ND stick with the multi-character per account idea.

The fact is thet NetDevil probably loses money going $14.95 multi versus $9.95 single for the current community. But that pales in comparison with the Jumpgate Evolution community they're hoping to build -- many of whom will expect to be able to create multiple accts.

Nowhere in the world is $15 a "bargain"

Free is a bargain.

$10 is what we are used to.

$15 is what some other games "think" their game is worth.

Simply put, the lower the monthly fee, the more likely you are to keep someone paying. Also, it makes it so those of us who have aquired a lot of bills since Jumpgate Classic can afford to play, I know I'll have a hard time coming up with money every month for a game but It will be easier if its 10 instead of 15.

And if it does go to 15, that absolutely guarantees I will not be using a second account.


I'd rather see Jumpgate do a single account only system for 10/month so those that want a second can pay for it instead of forcing us all to pay more to automatically have the option.

For me, I don't think I'll have enough time to play multiple accounts, so for me its a waste.
