Awen- as I said in re-mushrooming, just being blunt. It's pretty discouraging when the most important questions won't be answered. Here's some more:

Are there missions/questions currently in Jumpgate Evolution that have a storyline to make it sound like you're doing something important, but in reality everyone gets to do the same mission so it will still need to be done by someone else after I've done it?
For example, in city of heroes there was a mission take take down the Clockwork King. However, once you took him down you could immediately join another group and do it again...so really you didn't take anyone down...

Do NPC pirates threaten you if you don't transfer credits, or try to steal your cargo, or just blow you up?

Is the beta estimate still early 2008? I don't want to plan a trip to Denver if I can find out the same stuff in a month or so.

If I showed up at the ND office, do you think they'd let me in?

Has there been any talk of naming sectors/parts of space after Jumpgate Classic characters?

In comparison to Jumpgate Classic, when does Jumpgate Evolution start (immediate future, 400 years ahead, etc)?

Have to say I agree with GG, can we get some new info rather than rehashed stuff, NO im not saying that is what has been posted and NO im not having a poke at any one but it would be nice.

As for GG being nice I didn’t see anything wrong with his question, hell that was rather polite, you want to see some of the stuff we have come out with before.

As for a Jumpgate Evolution questions

Will I at last get a Amananth BCU?

Will Flux space be bigger?

Will there be multi entrance and exit points to and from Flux space?

Can I still have Melkors pos in Pulsar and will it stay the centre of Unreg and the bad arse sector it is at the moment?

Can I ask a question that is not flux related?

Will space be ………….. So many questions I do hope the answers are forth coming without the * Im sorry I cant answer that at this time I have to refer you o the post 15 years ago buried deep in the bowls of time and on page 256 of the Jumpgate forum.

Have you played Jumpgate Classic on the live server, yet? I'm expecting the answer to this to be 'No.'

Have you played any other space-based or flight-based games before?

You have a tough job, Awen. There's so much you going to have to answer with 'no' or 'I can't answer that right now.' But it is an important job. Please keep talking to us. I have always been impressed at how Istvan handled his job of communicating to us, especially considering he is a game-coder, not a PR man.

One question though. From the brief reviews so far it looks like the game is basically Jumpgate Classic with flash graphics and AI. Is it the plan to go into beta in this fashion and try out all the new ideas floating around or will you be adding more stuff beforehand?

I read that you will make (or already have) some groups on facebook and possibly more of these "community" sites that require registering. Due to the fact that I will never register to one of those, will all the "content" that you or other ND officials produce be avaivable on "open" sites, or are you planing to have some content restricted to these sites?

Just for beeing clear, I talk about news, official statements or utilities, not responses to answers that might come up on the respective site.
