I just enjoy the "new" game. I'm sure when Jumpgate Evolution gets here I'll be all involved in that and Taikodom will be a thing of the past. The graphic, music, and crafting aspects of this game I do enjoy. But it definitely is not the jumpgate that I love. I just hope that Jumpgate Evolution has some of the same features that I'm finding in Taikodom, but doubtful that there will ever be a game that is perfect. They all have different things to like and dislike about them.

Haven't the Jumpgate Evolution devs said numerous times that the flight engine is going to be the same, with the exception of an optional switch for 'dampeners'? I don't know why people still think it's going to be totally 'pansified' or whatever. We've even had several people see it first hand and say they liked it.

I myself have been looking for more Space MMOs besides Jumpgate to tickle my fancy and TKD has done that... The others just plain sucked.

I don't think anyone on this site needs to make excuses or give an account to anyone else who calls them out. Playing other games has absolutely nothing to do with Jumpgate. Most people here are gamers and we play games. This site is for talking about games.

Playing a game with certain aspects does not mean we want those particular things in Jumpgate or Jumpgate Evolution. I don't want Jumpgate to be "Quake in Space" but I still play shooters. And playing those shooters doesn't mean I want those things in Jumpgate. Just like many people that play WoW do not want WoW in space for Jumpgate. Most gamers can separate how they feel about different games from different perspectives. Each games stands on it's own and that is how it should be.

Real surgery I have 3 cysts on my right ankle .... its been killing me and I found out from an MRI on Friday the cause..

I also agree with biteme... TKD is a poor substitute for Jumpgate. It does have some pretty graphics compared to Jumpgate Classic though.

Aimbots, Safezones, and virtually zero flight physics detract greatly. However, the game seems to be in early beta, and I hope some of those aspects are changed. Atleast they will be adding inertia to the flight engine Friday.

BTW TKD has been around for a really long time I played it like 4 years ago it's been in beta that long. Back then it the flight engine was very much like jumpgates although there wasn't much you could do at that time except fly around and The graphics were just A bit better than Jumpgate Classic. It also had a perty nice HUD. But it seems TKD dumbed it's game down as well.

This is my first time playing it and I find it fun. Hate to think what it looked like 4 years ago (same case could be made about Jumpgate Classic). I do wish inertia comes soon but I just dont think it will the DANCER implementation we are expecting.

I,m glad your having fun. Ive been playing it too when I get a chance (what else is there) It's doesnt hold my interest though and I never played for more than a hour or 2 at a sitting.
