I thought they were coding for OpenGL as well!?!?
Also, with microsoft no longer supporting their own network code, they were doing their own or using another standard. Don't despair just yet, the only thing that could be confirmed is that XP will be supported but nothing has come out about anything else.

Where did that come from? I have not heard from any of the official sources (interviews, Scorch posts, etc.) anything about OpenGL!

I am pretty sure it was in one of the interviews but without listening to all of them again i can't be certain. Perhaps if someone from ND reads this they could respond on the question - OpenGL...in or out?

Seeing as this thread has been resurrected I thought i'd add this snippet of info.

It is part of the compatible games list for cadega. Errmmm, Jumpgate Classic running under Ubuntu? I'll try it this weekend. If the old one will work, I can't imagine the new one not doing. (OK, famous last words I know). I can see that windows partition getting smaller and smaller....
