perhaps because the term 'kraut' actually stems from a derogatory term from WWI and WWII regarding germans? Similar to the term 'Jap' from WWII regarding Japanese people.

The "derogatory" word for the Japanese is not "Jap" but "Nip" - Which really isn't derogatory at all because Japan was called Nippon until around the 1920's. Both words are are just shortened names - Jap for Japanese and Nip for Nipponese.

Also, I didn't invade Poland, the Krauts did. Also, I like Krauts enough to be banging one, so not all of them are bad. Mostly the women are OK, but the men can be overly Krautish.
