As for your point on Awen not doing her job... no idea, not been around long enough to tell but I'm going to guess she hadn't done her homework on you guys before she kicked the banstick about. As she's a nub and so am I I'll give her a break. Us nubs have to stick together and all that.

The way I see it is its not about changing the attitude, its choosing words carefully heh. My job is all about personnel management.. playing games, making sure people stay working their little hearts out for you whatever your actual opinion of them is.

You don't have to change to be as you want to be, just have to choose words more carefully. There are better ways to influence devs than head on attacks. Remember they will always believe their opinion is right. There is a school of thought that suggests their opinion is indeed right.... or at least what goes anyway.... as we all know, what is right and what is being done are two very seperate things

Of course I'm never above a verbal dressing down.. I've been banned from enough servers for my vitriol at server admins or game devs. However I think i've learnt a bit from it heh. Get what you want via positive influence is a much better way to effect an outcome. Its also far more devious...... but then i wouldn't ever condone devious behaviour
