1. This is the biggest reason. The sensation that you can experience during a fight. Shaking hands, heart pounding like an early stage of heart attack. If I smoked, I would light cig after a dozen of fights.
2. Skill based - it sucks when you are owned, but it feels much better when you rock. Ships do not matter if you are skilled enough 3. Pilot reputation - all pilots are accountable to what they do or say, no matter the status or sector 4. Getting your nickname (Spammer) due to your actions in the news. ![]() |

The flight engine... and the fact that they have 1.
also the community. theres something about turreting flux and chatting with whoever is on during your hour long flight to deliver several tons of uranium to the next station. then being able to hop into a fighter and go out to shoot (or get shot in my case) those same people |

what attracted me was the ability to shoot quants. quantar sux. i h8 the quants. they stink and their ships are ugly too. well, except the phoon. leave the phoon intact but give it more mass and make it like, the size of the oct bomber (maybe with the bomber's gunmounts too
). or better yet, make the phoon look like the freighter minus the ship armor! yeah!oh yeah, and get rid of the pest. /hijack at any rate, freedom and the ability to go wherever you wanted and shoot at whoever was quite liberating to me. i didn't feel confined by the game mechanics as much and i enjoyed the fact that there were actual other players flying alongside me as well. |
