They don't even allow you to pick your own avatar. Awen was nice enough to hook me up, but it's still pretty lame. They routinely delete or edit other peoples posts for the slightest infraction. Their curse filter is set up ridiculously... for example, you cant say 'retarded', which is super retarded.

Also, connection timeouts are plenty, and the main Jumpgate Evolution site seems to be hosted on a Commodore 64 with an acoustic coupler modem.

Furthermore, their site seems infested with twelve year olds.

We need to get things jumping with this site again. Which is why I've started to p1mp this site in my sig over there. Other suggestions?

Yes please do pimp with links in your sigs. Apparently we are off the fansite list these days. I applied but I guess they don't like us. I couldn't get my username so I'm not going to bother with that place or post in there "cough" fansite forum. I will be going back to work on the tenth so I will barely have enough time for this place as it is.

It's good to get your feedback - even if you are a little harsh with your words

With regards to the fansites, be sure to submit yours to the fansite page application. Those are then reviewed and if suitable, they will be posted to the official site fansite listings. Once submitted your application may take a few days as it is a manual process for someone to check out the site and to make sure you're not promoting anything illegal so that it's a safe place for our community to visit.

Same for avatars, we do allow them however they have to be submitted to a member of the community team for review before we will upload them to your profile. Again, this is to stop the unscrupulous people from posting nasty images and worse still - animated gifs of stuff you wouldn't want your children seeing as happened in the old days when we allowed people to do it...

I have this strong feeling that rather codemasters adds this site to their list or not, this is where the heart of the community will be hanging out as Jumpgate Evolution progresses after retail release. Jump has always gone above and beyond with dedication to providing the Jumpgate community members with invaluable tools and information while keeping an open mind that everyone if different.

The years of service and work that Jump has put into this site should have joystickrequired listed at the top of the list, even if the members here don't always talk nicely 100% of the time.

They added it. Though I don't like all the country distinctions. This site is for everyone wherever they live. It would be better if they distinguished them by primary language.

This mother hen Attitude for a PvP game. I can see alot of issues with "he shot me illegally cause I wasn't ready" kind of complaints which who ever shot 1st will lose and get a ban.

Unlikely. It will just be hardcoded in. GM's are too expensive.

Lately I havent had connection timeouts, but to me, discussing the stuff we had on the other archived forums again and starting over is kind of stupid. Wish ND would put some new content for everyone to discuss but to be talking time after time about the same stuff is old.

I'm having weird feelings about a CM moderator coming here lol, reminds me of that nasty episode with Moll, hope he (Satine) remembers this is a 3rd party site after all and that we should be free to talk about the game as we might feel and that no repercussions should come after it
