Re: New min spec for Jumpgate Evolution
Especially since Vista does not natively support OpenGL. So I doubt they would code for two platforms.

Re: New min spec for Jumpgate Evolution
For my a support for 2 Monitors at 1680x1050 would be nice.
System: CoreDuo 6300 3,2GHz 4GB DDr2 Ram Dual Channel 2x Radeon 2900xt Crossfire 20146 3dmarks06 2x 22" TFT 1680x1050 ![]() |

Re: New min spec for Jumpgate Evolution
Two questions:
1) Why only Pixel Shader 2.0 and not 3.0? 2) Would a pixel-doubling option be quicker to implement then adding code for 800x600? I think I'm not really understanding why 800x600 would require extra effort unless you specifically have to make low-res versions of textures, graphics, etc. |

Re: New min spec for Jumpgate Evolution
Fair enough...
Though my gaming rig = 1600X1200 and my laptop "browse the forums while I am doing something boring in game" resolution = 1024X768. Not even really intending to comment on the overall results..they do speak for themselves, just sorta a side note. |
