It looks like FleeTelephone has somehow managed to steal a Solrain Ranger from Jumpgate Classic and infiltrate Jumpgate Evolution. =)

Its not the ranger. This ship appeared on the interview with Hermann on the german site (it had 2 german and 2 english pages), it was one of the pics in there.

Think I saw a similar post elsewhere and responded, but to help spread the word, here's the scoop on that ship: I am pretty confident what we're seeing there is the current ingame model of the Solrain light fighter.

If anyone wants to post other assets from the vid here I'll gladly play "ID that ship" with you guys. Keep in mind that there may not be only one of each shiptype per faction anymore, too. There might however be only one of the type in the game right now.

I asserted that the ship we were looking at in the screenie was a light fighter, but Jump asks about the Halcyon, the starter ship?

No, the Halcyon hasn't changed. I am pretty sure you can see it in the movie clip, too. We've got something like five or six ships for each faction included in the current test builds. I'm offering to tell you guys what's being shown in a shot, if you stick it in this thread and ask about it.

oo yeah the two ships flying and shooting at something, def Quant but not a ship that's ever been mentioned methinks.
I'd still love to see a pic of the Oct fighter/starter ship.
