Very cool. Any links to the basics, FAQs, how-to's on how this stuff works, like what type of paper to use, etc...

You can probably find all that at the site you get the viewer from. Also you can look at his build photo's for hints. As with any craft I'm sure it takes a lot of trial and effort to do as good a job as we have seen with Bingo's finished ones.

I just got done looking. There appears to be no good guides out there. Guess I'll have to make one.

Basicly you need
- 67lb cardstock paper
-exacto knife
-self healing cutting mat (I got a huge mat but I could have gotten away with a 6 inch mat) I hear a slab of coregated cardboard works too.
-embossing tool (this is for scoring the fold lines so the paper bends where you want) if you are very careful you can use the back edge of your knife.
-tacky white glue (I use Scotch Quick-Drying tacky glue) it hardens in 5 minutes.

The rest is the software and your brains. The build photos should help with the build order. Some models don't have photos because I didn't own a camera at the time.

I won't be doing any, but Yamaha has a bunch. Paper Crafts | YAMAHA MOTOR

They even have a multi part model they are designing and posting as the components become available.

This is awesome. I've always loved papercraft and there's a Snake-in-a-box on my computer monitor right now even.

I'll get to work on building a few of these soon. Where do we post our requests? (Tornado please)

I wonder if you could build a pre-patch Monsoon using a balloon as the body...
