Getting worked up about whether or not we're happy isn't going to help ND develop Jumpgate Evolution in the long run. We're about as fickle as a community can get without forgetting our own name.

That's why I used my own name when I signed up.. didn't want to run around referring to myself by my Jumpgate handle

Quoted by GrimGriz "If it matters what we think they'd be better off getting our feedback before they coded it."

Quoted by Ambrosius "LOL"

Ambro, that's EXACTLY the point! GG got it percisely on target and it deserves to be emphasized to the point where ND addresses the issue up front and honestly. Does our imput and suggestions matter as far as game design/play is concerned?

Well Awen, Scorch, Striker? Does our opinoin really make a rat's ass of difference in what you are going to do or not?

I'd imagine it does, but not blindly. I would imagine the opinions expressed here in the varying threads will be considered contextually in relation to the forums overall bias's.

Dunno, let's see what they say. I would hope that they do value the input of the 50-100 long-loyal customers who post here and elsewhere, but I would expect them (if they are smart) to value it in context against the "projected opinions" of the 10,000 - 20,000 new people they hope to attract.

... except for my opinion, which they should treat as gospel (Quantar gospel or course).

Re: Please explain safe zones.

Why do you expect those "other" opinions to be any different than the ones here? Other than the experience of those that have played Jumpgate, the varied opinions here are not much different than other game sites. Though we may be a bit more civil than many other games.

It's far more than 50-100 people Ambro.

only difference is that majority play Fantasy games that all look alike..most people who play these games didnt play jumpgate, But most Jumpcrackers did play fantasy games aswell at some point.

If we are a special group of people that have totally different view then other gamers have on how games should be, I dont think so.

Because if they had similar feelings about gaming, we would have had a lot more players over the years.

The majority of players play shooters.
