As long as I don't need to deal with em on the WWS server, I don't care how safe zones are implemented on the PvE server. Secretly I hope they're amazingly restrictive, so that PvE players eventually get tired of it and come to the WWS server. Kinda like how the game becomes totally different once you get into PvP.

That's just one forum.

Either way, the opinions here don't vary much from the average gamer elsewhere. I know you say you have never played another game so I can understand how you could think it's meaningless. You just don't know.

For example, if you went to 2k games and went into the Bioshock forums. You would see people asking for an easier level of play, you would see people asking for the Vita-Chambers to be removed to make it extremely hard and you would see people that like it the way it is. And of course they all want the others to STFU. Pretty much the same as here. We are a microcosm of all gamers. And any business person with half a brain would consider such opinions to be representative.

Just because the people here played Jumpgate once does not make their opinions any less valid or reflective of the average populace. You should get out more.

Stop being kissy-ass. It leads to halitosis.

I believe you meant to say it leads to halitosity.

WWS=Wide World of Sports Server?

@Jump: I think what Ambro is trying to say is that, loyal or not, we are (hopefully) the vocal minority when it comes to opinions on Jumpgate, whether we be 100, 200, or 500 people is immaterial.

Awen, thank you so very much for your reply. Knowing the suggestions made here are being read and discussed by the ND team encourages me. This game raises great passions among many people, myself included, not just for what it is or what it was, but for what we all think it could become. Thank you ND for giving us both a game and a hope to be passsionate about.

It would still be of great help if Scorch could TELL us what he wants to do with the game (besides the obvious: be successful, make money, have a ton of players, etc). We understand that he can't always get what he wants (Stones?) but if we knew where he wanted to go maybe we could more easily decide if we wanted to go there with him or go somewhere else. Hell, if we knew the destination, we might even be able to give him advice on the best route (scenic or efficient or shortest distance/ rural farm-to-market or Interstate). Knowing whether "safe zones" means NO ATTACKS AT ALL or whether it means YOU CAN ATTACK BUT IT IS GOING TO BE BOTH PAINFUL AND EXPENSIVE makes a BIG difference. I don't think anyone who's played JumpGate for more than a year wants to see zones of absolute invulnerability.
