Re: Question about space objects
I always thought of the Jumpgates as the point at which your ship is "teleported" to a destination. Whether this be through folding space or wormholes was really not clear. Assuming for a minute that it was some sort of space folding then a stationary exit is feasible. Also, the exit point might not be "exact" but rather within a given error range. This means that the exit point doesn't need to be an actual Jumpgate. Unlike wormholes that have set entry/exit points jumping would only have an exact entry point.

Re: Question about space objects
I always thought it was 5, although lag certainly adds a second or two. 10s = FF = jump-lag so invulnerability = 5s?
Getting back to my idea, carrying momentum is cool and makes the game have more options and require more skill. Who cares if quantum singularity travel isn't followed to the 'T?' ![]() |
