Question about the Test Pilot Medal after reset

About This Page About This Page: This is a discussion on Question about the Test Pilot Medal after reset within the Jumpgate Evolution General Discussion forums, part of the Jumpgate Evolution Forums category, at Joystick Required Forums. Question about the Test Pilot Medal after reset
I'm assuming (and hoping) that there will be a server reset for Jumpgate Evolution. If so, Will I get to keep my shiny Test Pilot medal from the first Jumpgate beta testing back in 2000?

I just want to keep my dev rip medals and my sol opti medal.. the rest, although cool, can go. I lost all the ones I really cared about when I reset my account anyway, the shards. Those things were a biotch to get and I always took pride in having them. Prolly the toughest medals to get in Jumpgate, when all we had were tows.

Jumpgate Evolution is an entirely new game. There wont be a wipe as they are starting with an entirely new database. Although I imagine everyone who betatests Jumpgate Evolution will receive a 'Beta Test Medal' for testing Jumpgate Evolution.

why should one have medals from Jumpgate Classic to what seems to be a completely new game. And especially if storyline gets changed, then there is no reason to "keep" anything from Jumpgate Classic.

I'm not saying that it isn't likely. But that doesn't mean people should pretend they have inside information when they don't. Unless you have proof don't try and pretend otherwise.
