I'm sure you enjoyed blowing doe up and he didn't however. Pity we couldn't rip you over and over again in your Oct MT persona for account exploiting w/o extremely high penalties as Tritian etc. has already pointed out. Regards Al |

If someone keeps stripping OP, I should be able to keep killing them for it. Do you agree? |

Of course I also think stripping a station should be made near impossible to do too. Military equip that you need to be mil to buy, civ gear you need to be civ to buy and never the twain to mix. Commodity ownership restrictions - station wont let you buy and carry off more than xx of station required items. Military stations that civs and other mils cant dock at with GM's able to ban individuals seen to strip for 2nd account benefits. Mil guys auto given equipment from their faction on death, less taxes. Military ships with military ship requirements. Civ ships with civ equip requirements. Auto inflation of purchase costs on items over set amounts. BIG enough markets so that you cant buy up all the stock. Production centres located away from the market on stations. stuff like that. One thing I dont want to hear about in Jumpgate Evolution is stripping and the rollcks that goes with it. |

Re: Would you play if Jumpgate had no Registry Tags?
I disagree. I think station stripping should stay. I believe it's a valid tactic of lameness and without the llama's who would we rip over and over and over again? =P
Seriously though, it should stay. I propose that the game rules be changed to make stripping more easily punishable and detectable. I propose that if the game detects you taking a large amount of equipment from a non-producing station, then your ship should flip HG. Furthermore, if anyone scans you, you should incur a temp bounty and your cargo insurance revoked. |

Re: Would you play if Jumpgate had no Registry Tags?
The point i think, is you shouldnt have to. If they had a temp bounty then the rip would be "justified" by the game mechanics and you would therefore have nothing to work off.
Im with Tritian on this one. Stripping as a military tactic should stay. We just need a mechanism to allow us to rip the llamas when they do it. |
