Jumpgate Evolutions first new ship is the Halcyon
That's right folks we have a winner for our first Jumpgate Evolution Contest at Joystick Required. Congratulations go out to Winkkin for the winning entry of Halcyon. Winkkin, I have given your contact email to NetDevil and if it is indeed up to date you should receive a contact shortly. If you have other contact info you want me to forward then PM me.
So that's it, we have the Halcyon as the first ship that Solrain recruits will pilot in Jumpgate Evolution. And if you see Winkkin hanging around the pub at Sol Core telling tall tales of how he named it to recruits, feel free to shoot him. ![]() The word I got was that it was a brutal battle at NetDevil's headquarters over a final four entries. Hopefully no one got hurt in the tie breaker elimination rounds. Stay tuned for more fun stuff here at Joystick Required as Jumpgate Evolution moves closer to beta and release. Halcyon, I like it. ![]() |

Re: Jumpgate Evolutions first new ship is the Halcyon
Halcyon, on and on.
Cool name. I look forward to blowing these things up... since it obviously doesn't look like an Octavian design. The design is cool though... reminds me a lot of one of my early 'batwing' fighter models I was making, but much more sophisticated: 'Batwing' Which later turned into my Tau Fighter: 'Tau Fighter' |
