That's right folks we have a winner for our first Jumpgate Evolution Contest at Joystick Required. Congratulations go out to Winkkin for the winning entry of Halcyon. So that's it, we have the Halcyon as the first ship that Solrain recruits will pilot in Jumpgate Evolution. And if you see Winkkin hanging around the pub at Sol Core telling tall tales of how he named it to recruits, feel free to shoot him.

The word I got was that it was a brutal battle at NetDevil's headquarters over a final four entries. Hopefully no one got hurt in the tie breaker elimination rounds.

The design is cool though... reminds me a lot of one of my early 'batwing' fighter models I was making, but much more sophisticated:
