NetDevil Unveils New Jumpgate Evolution Website

It looks like the devs at NetDevil have been busy. Today they flipped the switch and revealed what has been hidden. A beautiful new website for Jumpgate Evolution. It's not just a beta sign-up page anymore. There is also the first in game video shots on the front page. It looks sweet!

It really looks nice and you can see the beginnings of what may become the new JOSSH developing on some of the sections. Go there and reserve your name quick.

While it's nice to see that there is now a central site for fans of Jumpgate Evolution, Joystick Required will still be here as a Jumpgate Evolution fansite. So don't despair.

Now all we need is beta.

It turns out that aside from Draker, no one on the "dev team" has been working on the new Jumpgate Evolution website. Our Community Manager, Webmaster, and Business Development Manager, as well as our Art Director and contract writer (and well-known author) Keith Baker, have all been hard at work, and we think they've done a great job.

The "dev team", though, has been working on the game, so that eventually, you'll get beta. While you're waiting, enjoy the video footage. Yes, that's in-game. And yes, supposedly we'll be adding to it.

Opening a new site is a lot of work and tweaking. There is no way to anticipate the level of interest. I suspect they are going to need multiple servers as it is bound to become a big board soon enough.
