It would be fine if hitting the launch button I'm instantly at the end of the launchy tubey thing and immeaditaly flung down the tubey into space. Without the unnecessary gimmicks to keep me from being where I want to be in space.

What would you rather have, the truck or a one time launch sequence?
There has to be some timesink in there to keep instant relaunch from unbalancing sector battles |

I think every pilot that is killed should have to should have to go into avatar mode then run the gauntlet through wonderland and all the Carebear characters. Then they should view the launch sequence and launch. Maybe in Sol it could be the Smurfs.
Space is dangerous and death should have severe penalty. |
