Go back a few threads and you will see that we showed a Solrain ship. In fact we named it the Halcyon in a contest won by Winkinn.

yeah but that was a standard newb ship. Nothing to get excited over thats for sure. It was def cooler than the original, but nothing like either of the other two shown. I guess they are just waiting to show the best for last haha

The ship looks really great. I don't care if it's not "standard-Oct," standards were meant to be broken.

I also think there's only two to three guns on that ship and they're all down the center-line. Depending on the scale, two sz2's and one sz1, plus 8 missile hardpoints. That's a lot of missiles.

Whatever the outcome, it's Odiche's fault.

it seems sorta bulky. I think the things on the forward canards are missiles of some sort. ya sure its not the heavy fighter?

I want the old black and red color scheme back too, maybe we can petition some1

Well, we're actually considering having the "color schemes" vary somewhat from ship to ship in Jumpgate Evolution.... There's a couple ways to approach this and we haven't settled on a method, so I haven't got more details to offer: I literally don't know which route we're going to choose, but it's going to be both a technology and an art matter to resolve.

Be assured you'll hear more from one of us on the subject, at some point, almost without doubt before beta.

Heck, you should see some examples in screenshots, once we get this worked out.
