I submit this post in hopes to getting it moved into the "Video Game News and Announcements" section.

A small excerpt:

Quote:
As gaming enters the mainstream and video game consoles become as ubiquitous in entertainment centers as DVD players, the industry has become an important economic driver of the United States economy.
I find it interesting that video games are growing so quickly with more and more people barely able to feed themselves and buy gas. I guess on the other hand however, people can pay a small fee for a game they can play over and over instead of going out and entertaining themselves, which is cheaper in the long run.

Well, it cost me over $100 to take the family out to Texas Roadhouse the other night. So games are still a pretty good deal for your entertainment budget.

Dude I know, the cost of "living" is getting out of control! Gas, Food, Electricity, Internet/Cable Prices, entertainment places (like movies), housing, EVERYTHING is going up.

And I havn't seen a real "raise" in awhile so I'm starting to feel it
