Just thought you should know there are legions upon legions of salivating LEGO fans over at the LEGO website asking rapid-fire questions about LEGO Universe. Hope you don't mind but I posted links to the sneak peak pics from the ND website for them to look at. I should mention that a lot of them are asking about whether it's going to cost money and if so, how much (your average 10-year-old doesn't have a credit card

). I'm guessing the most obvious answer is they'll need their parents to maintain an account for them, but I'll leave that one to the moderators. It's too soon to tell but I think this new MMO is turning into a potential gold mine

sure sure its nice from a business perspecetive... but!!

From a application design perspective its such a sexy project... the lego concept is schoolbook for OO component based design... it really is a system designers wet dream...

Ok, nevermind about directing people to the ND website. Apparently the mods at the LEGO website took lessons from the Gestapo. It took 24 hours for my original post to go through the approval process, after which it got denied because it contained links. I made a second post with the links removed, in which I mearly directed people to go look at the "Netdevil website". 24 hours later it was denied and flagged as inappropriate. Oh well :shrugs: .

Well, keep in mind they are going to have a large audience of little kids so they need to be real strict. It's probably a no win situation with that market.
