Also I heard SWG will be releasing it's space expansion and it will be Joystick friendly. That might be something I would play, not sure.

Yes indeedy, it's going to be excellent. I've been in the beta, and am VERY impressed with it. Single and multiplayer, dynamic campaigns, fighter and cap ship combat and control, planetary and space-based missions, and incredible modding capabilities.
