Any of you play it? I saw Crooklyn and a few other people on Emerald VS last night. I play NC Emmy at the moment as 88sRincewind.

Last night was my first night in that game. It's ok for a change of pace. Little frag fest every now and then prolongs my interest in jumpgate, as 24/7 in just one game gets boring to quickly. Course now with the FM's for bombers up and running it will be a little while before I go mosquito flying, or ATV driving.

Thought about trying it since it's free now (up to some certain level or something). Is it any good?

I could really get into Planetside if I wasn't enjoying jumpgate. It probibly helps that I'm on Ventrilo with others in the game, but yeah I'm finding it to be a blast.

It's pretty fun. I find it more interesting then BF2 or CS or anything like that as what you do has more precedence on what happens in the game.

Not sure hows that.... but I downloaded, logged in and jumped into a bomber with a friend and starting dropping bombs on bad guys. Ran around in a tank for a while where he drove and I was the gunner, took over a tower or something like that. All the while I haven't been asked for CC information or anything.....yet.

If you sign up for the "Reserves" (http://planetside.station.sony.com/reserves/) you apparently get to play for free up to Rank 6.. whatever that means. Looks like the offer goes until March 07.

You wouldn't like it with dialup elp anyway. Lag can get bad with cable.
