You're not a fool to have played Academy or Armada. I personally loved both titles, even though I really dug Armada.

Kilrathi Saga (what jelo called "WC Saga") was already covered by the seperate listings for WC1/2/3, since KS is just those games tweaked to run better in Win9x.

Just FYI, Fragile Alleigiance was NOT a joystick game, it was a sort of stragegy building thing. Still fun as hell though. There is... a place that cheers on Underdogs, shall we say - that still carries a copy of the game (really the only place you can concieveably find it.)

Speaking of Armada, hehehe......

Back in the day, I used to hang out at a site called www.wcnews.com. Somebody there was working on a hack of some sort to get Armada to work over the net. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing. If so spill the beans and post a link. Cuase I was pretty good at flying that bomber while making torp runs on carriers.

TTBOMK, there was never anyone who figured out a way to work around the netcode limitations of Armada. Even with MyJEMM (whose support of Armada might be a tad flakey for some), there's not been any success at internet networking or otherwise going beyond the null modem, direct-connect phone modem, and IPX (Proving Grounds addon, available from the CIC files section) options of the original game.
