Here's a link to a space based game that I remember seeing some screen shots for ages ago. Not sure if its any good, playable or whatever but I thought I'd put a link here for its general spacey theme and to see if anyone we know here has a review/opinion they would like to offer up. Im downloading the demo atm.

hehe the nah was a voluntary in depth review of what I though of the game having installed.

Theres a lesson here for any future game devs. Get the feel right for your players sake.

I installed it, waded through the intro movies (yawn - but you have to watch them once though don't you) launched, discovered its another one of them bouncy space sims where your fighting the stick after every change in direction (in those axis it allows (no roll)) which left me feeling anything but in control. I then got instantly bored of the old 'weapons fire depleting your energy reserves till your guns don't work' sameold sameold (without even the option of throttle controlling the power either) and then I noticed the cockpit graphics, bouncing about as I moved too.. urrrkkkgg *puts hands over mouth* the only effect that and the stick fighting had was to make me feel giddy and confused while the AI span about unintelligently defying the laws of physics with their massless jerking.

I know I didnt give it much of a go at all but... *delete from HD*

Ok I was a little harsh I suppose and feeling guilty had another look.

It does have some nice features, *runs off to find notepad for Jumpgate Evolution suggestions* like hacking building security and transferring funds, ship to ship trade etc etc
