Re: Babylon 5 - the lost tales.
Man, Eraser, you really missed the best bits of the show. I'll admit that it was hard to get into, and that the quality of episodes was variable. But by the third season, they were getting very consistent and extremely well written. The point of being in space was that it was neutral territory, and they couldn't build it on a planet because then they'd be on somebody's "home turf". That's why the station was built orbiting a (presumably) dead planet.
The thing I loved about B5 was the range of its writing styles. There were epic battles raging across the galaxy, and then there's my favorite episode "Intersections in Real Time". The entire episode is an interrogation, has two actors, and takes place in a single room. It's brilliant, political intelligent, and well designed. |

Re: Babylon 5 - the lost tales.
Im a lurker on many a forum... but don't have a login there. I try to keep my postings on theme related forums to a few sites. My B5 site of choice currently is JMSNews and MAY be where i saw this news first.. a few fans sites have posted the info already. I like to browse sites/forums but there are far too many fan communities to be a part of all of them.
Anyway.. why do you ask? |
