I'm actually a big fan of seeing how remakes stack up to originals.

Like watching Barb Wire (Barb Wire (1996)) and Casablanca, and boggling at how the frak they made all-time classic into an all-time turkey.

Comparisons between Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope and The Dam Busters (The Dam Busters (1955)) reveal that George Lucas used Professor Wallis' wife as the inspiration for Princess Leah's haircut. The destruction of the Death Star is also ripped from the dam buster's exploits.

That totaly reminded me of a dos game I use to play called strangly enough damn busters. I played just about every flight sim ever made i think
