Dang I forgot to check the "upgrade shipping" box when I ordered these latest DVD's. Now I may have to wait till next week.

I wish they would just release each season as a set like they did the Key to Time. Though that was one topic and an obvious choice for that. It would be far easier to keep track of what I have and don't have yet.

Well, good news and bad news.

I got my shipment today. The Robot DVD (Tom Baker's first show) got here. Unfortunately, the other DVD was not The Sontaran Experiment. It was Dinotopia which may be cool for someone that ordered it but not for me. I'm most likely going to get screwed on this as Ebay and Paypal probably don't care. So far, no reply to my emails. *sigh

Actually, I think it may be restricted to UK only as it's been posted on YouTube by the BBC themselves. Sorry, glad you found another version, albeit of slightly lower quality.

Well, I got ripped off again by Paysuck and escam. I guess that was the last straw for ebay with me. I just won't use it anymore. They created a system where people can be ripped off and they have automated systems that makes them feel like they are protecting but they are not.

If you have to pay $ to ship something back, using tracking, blindly with no guarantee to a someone that doesn't reply to emails, to get refunded a few $, then you have been ripped off.

If you absolutely must order something from eBay, always check the sellers feedback. If he's a regular and he's shady, chances are he'll have some negative comments on his record. If nothing else, leaving a serious nastygram of negative feedback would at least let you vent a little bit.

I have been using it since the beggining and am fully aware on how to shop. But these shady sellers start second and third stores when they get too low of a rating so you can still get trapped.

All the negative feedback started after I purchased it. Everyone says they don't answer emails. I have since found out through other sources that they are also CollectionStop which has a 98.9 rating. So they started up another and pulled the same crap.

I fully understand the risk involved. My complaint is with the system that ebay aka paypal have set up. There is no help for you when you get ripped off by a seller unless it's big money.

These shady sellers know full well that as long as 99% of the DVD's or whatever get delivered and people post there little + feedback just because they got it then they do not have to answer emails. ebay will not do anything to stop them. To me, 1% of customers not getting their order is a problem. I would be willing to bet that if you could ask the people that leave positive comments, just because they got the item, if they ever received a reply to emails asking for shipping info they would say no.

No response to payment email
No response to shipment email
no response to any emails even paypal inquiry emails.

Oh wait, I got an automated email response to my negative feedback asking me to rethink it. LOL

Now, just to be fair, there are some good people that sell on ebay. Such as these guys. eBay My World - thinkingdvd

They send you a pre-paid label if they ship the wrong item. Plus they respond to all emails. Oh look, 100% positive.

Nevertheless, ebay enables crooks. I guess that's why France is going after them now. I wish more countries would go after them. Hopefully someone will eventually create something comparable and competitive.

LOL, I guess I am better off selling the item on ebay to get some of my money back. Of course, ebay would get a second fee for the same item and so would paypal. What a racket. lol
