Heroes

I dunno if u'd classify Heroes as 'sci-fi', but I'm totally into this show. I'm loving how they are making the different heroes interact and never knowing exactly whos good or evil. Anyone else a fan?

In a sub-thought...whats your ideas on genetic alterations possibly creating people with special abilities in the forseable future?

Re: Heroes

It's neat as far as sci-fi goes but I don't think the human cell can do any of that stuff. The energy required would be enormous for much of it.

Re: Heroes

Regenerating cells fast enough to heal fast or grow out parts of your body is totally possible as seen in nature. But I doubt we would ever be able to fly or control time/space like in the series..

I do like the series.

Sorry, but that's a common human trait most of us suffer from.

Re: Heroes

I liked the show, but the end of season one was a major let down, and season 2 hasn't been anything to write home about. They basically have 8 characters that deserve their own show, so nothing of consequence can happen in a single episode because there are 7 other characters for you to catch up on.

Me too, except its when I wash my car(s).

I loooove Heroes, one of the best shows out there right now. Every episode I'm left with more question.

Why was 1 such a let down to you? I thought the whole season was awesome. And why not have 8 heroes? A whole season about one guy would be boring.

Re: Heroes

It felt contrived. Like they didn't have enough episodes to tell the whole story so they wrapped up the whole thing with a season finale very quickly. I don't know whether a whole season about 1 guy would be boring or not, but I'm not fond of the way basically nothing happens and you have to wait a week to see basically nothing happen again.

I dunno, maybe if each episode was about 1 character it would be better.

Re: Heroes

That show confuses me. I guess it's because I don't watch a lot of television. I watched it on one channel, then I see it's on another channel. I'm not sure I have watched it in any particular order or where the show is actually at in it's time line. What I have seen was cool though.

Re: Heroes

I guess different stroke for different folks. I personally really like the way the episodes are put together and how all of the sub-stories link together.
