The Sarah Jane Adventures
So I believe this starts here next week. Does it have any meat or is it just trying to make money off the Dr.Who franchise? I see that she is accompanied by a bunch of kids. So is it just a "look at the stars" kiddie show or does it have real sci-fi content and purpose?

Re: The Sarah Jane Adventures
2nd series (which just finished about 20 mis ago) is far better than the first. I wasn’t going to watch on the strength of the 1st but im glad I did, so much better.

Yes
Not that im homophobic but the first series had far too much man love for my liking, and they even tried to spice it up with a bit of girl on girl action,. The 2nd, ok It had a few *come on get on with it* moments but on the whole the show was much better and the humour came thick and fast along with some good story lines. Much better than the 1st. |

Re: The Sarah Jane Adventures
Which means you can't watch it with your kids. I'm not much into telling my kids to leave the room so I can watch some cool sci-fi. They should have it on later not during prime time like it is on Sci-Fi channel. But then we are talking about a Sci-Fi channel that shows wrestling.
Anyway, it looks like the Sara Jane thing is a year behind over here. Too bad since we watched them all off torrent this weekend. It looks like Sci-Friday will be boring for awhile other than the hour that Dr. Who is on. |

Re: The Sarah Jane Adventures
Torchwood was always on after our so called water shed, (after 9:00pm) but they did show an edited version at 7:00pm the next day, just had all the sex and violence cut out but then depending on the age of your kids and what you allow them to watch etc ……
