Not a Sci-Fi show, for sure. But one worth talking about because of the whole drama aspect that's come up.

Basically, The Unit was a great show for most of season 1, and about 1/2 of season 2. The family drama stuff wasn't even that bad, though at times it did take up too much time. Season 3, though, is sucking royally. Not only is the drama stuff being lengthened, but they don't even bother to maintain any consistency with settings and secondary characters. And the action stuff.... is starting to look like they've hired Chuck Norris as a creative consultant. They still manage to do things that make me feel like they aren't pulling any punches, but then they poison those brief moments of honesty and realism with peripheral crap and hokey drama.

I watched the pilot episode and laughed my through it at the stupidity of it all. I realize that as a former Marine, I know how certain things actually work, but I can't suspend belief long enough to watch these hack actors screw there through it. Throw in the Desperate houswives portion and the pilot was all that I saw.
