A corp of our own.

I've been thinking that eventually we will want to form our own corp, so that we have direct control over our RP. I've decided to make this thread so that we can discuss those specifics.

Corporation Name: Phuqyeah!

Corporation Objective: The takeover of Proxima Centauri

I was looking at Proxima Centauri. It has 2 sectors. Iceball and Ursulla.

Ursulla is a sunny little doomed sector with no stations, no asteroids, and no bots. It's also a dead end. It'd be the perfect place to put a base, if that's possible.

Iceball contains a very nice asteroid field where 2200c commods are common. Even some 5000c commods. Iceball has one station, some 'bounty hunter' AI, and a warp gate to Sedna.

I think what we should do is basically set up a base of operations out of the station in Iceball and protect the asteroid field at all costs. If we see people mining it, we hit them up for a 3000c asteroid field usage fee. GrimGriz has shown that you can open a trade with someone even in-space, so getting the credits shouldn't be hard. If they dont pay it, we can put the boots to them, hard-style.

I believe if we got this RP together, we could establish a significant presence in TKD. More English speakers are joining TKD every day, and they are ganked in their bullfrogs. Our squad would have a constant influx of new meat. Like in prison, we can seek out our own kind (english speakers) and protect them, offer them a place to fight back against the n00b killing Brazilians like RaptorX.

The name sucks but the idea is definitely a positive.

The issue is that our relative size is small and we dont have a presence.... And I just dont want to take every English speaking guy in our corp There are a couple of asshat pilots (Keeper is one)..

We simply do not have the size, skill, and presence necessary to execute your proposal. We would need about 20 - 30 folks....

I have a better proposal that ties into making even more money and effecting the economy.

Remember that several TKDs who are not JGer who have access... Probably not a good idea to discuss our efforts in detail (nudges Tritian)

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do what you propose Tritian but in another MORE lucrative place (HUGE WINK). Hurricane knows where I am talking about.

There is a more lucrative place. Iceball doesn't have enough to interest me and Ursula is a dead end sector, but I believe you will see lots of vet PvP pilots flying through to it for the missions that get completed there. I also saw Antes corp there last night in force mining like crazy.

And like Tstrike says, we don't have the manpower or experience. 6 or 7 against 40 means we would be the whipping boys. RaptorX may be the ass, but mistakes DO happen. I killed MALA in 0.8 when were we fighting Morpheus in Neptuno. And thats when we both had corp tags.
