I got the frighter certificate mission, which tells me to get 150 silicates, but the description is bugged.

anyone know where Im supposed to go to complet this thing?

no idea, but if you go to Taikodom-english irc, the guy there is typically very helpful. If he doesn't know, he goes and finds the info.

Not sure where but check Marte and Jupiter and south of Jupiter.

I got it. I had about 300 on me, all i had to do was launch and land.
