this oni thing is very confusing. i dont get it. i lost much money in openening that slot management and dunno what to do. its getting more expensive each time and i want to understand whats giong on. can someone help me and explain it a little bit?

Second that.

As far as I understand one use of ONI is to install the certificats you get through mission which then will make it able for you to buy equipment, guns, ships.
But there must be more to it that I'm missing.

I haven't done the slot management option at all, and I have 6-7 different certificates.

I got 4 certificates from Jules Verne, basic weapon, basic systems, basic fighter and basic bomber. As I completed a certificate I would open ONI and on the left hand side I would see (example: basic systems with green 1) so I would click the green and it would ask me if I wanted to install. No cost to do this that I have noticed.

I also then went to Tita - Celestial Haven station and did the explore and frighter certificate. I installed the explorer the same was as above example for basic systems. When I install I ship certificate I get a pop up window asking me where to spend my points. For the explore I had 4 points so I put 2 small weapons (2 points each) and then accepted.

I haven't tried using slot management because, well it cost money, and I haven't needed to use it. I imagin after I get more certificates and want to change my ship slot settings, 2 small guns to say 1 small gun, 1 launcher then I will have to see what happens.
