On the subject of loot. Is there a list of what station and where will accept what loot?

Through various trial and error I was able to sell some (mostly coolant and 1 ai thing), but I am still left with various crap that takes up space.

If nothing found... is it possible to dump loot into space?

If you drag out, it will merely destroy the items. Sucks, especially since I want to dump them in some far away place, outside of sensor range (well, we don't have sensor range, so nvm that). I was thinking about making a list in the little time that I have to play, but like Hurricane said, we don't know what will change after March 3rd. Maybe we should start making one anyway, in case it doesn't change. Hmm..

Also, every station has a ton of personal storage space. And the Inventory button will show you what all stuff you own and where it is.

I think the idea is for you to loot, loot, loot. Then dock and store it. Then repeat, repeat, repeat. Then eventually switch to your big cargo ship and go around to pick up all your loot items and take them to places to sell all at once. Hopefully you bring escorts since the only thing you lose in any death is cargo.

Station Imports and Exports

Hello Poseidon,

The link above will show you some of the station research we have done, as to which station export and import some of the items in the game. Determine what kind of loot you are getting, look for the stations that import those types of items, then check those stations to see if they are interested in buy at this time. Their desire for imports will change if lots of the accepted imports are sold at that station, so you may have to check multiple stations before you find the one that is accepting the loot you have collected.
