So what does Taikodom mean?

Is there any meaning to the naming of the game? I imagine there is some meaning in Brazil that a silly North American like me wouldn't understand. I know that Taiko is a Japanese Drum. And I also now that Taikonaut is a word the Chinese invented so they wouldn't have to call their space faring people Astronaut or Cosmonaut. The name has a real Asian feel to it. So I am wondering how it came to be used in a game from Brasil. Sounds like an interesting tale.

Nice question, and nice guess Jump. "Taiko" comes from Mandarin (chinese language) "taikong" that means space in the way that taikonaut stands to astronaut. "Dom" comes from dominiun. So we may say Taikodom means Space Dominiun. Infact ingame money is caled Taeis, Taeis was a old real money used in china long time ago.
