Stuck items

There is one thing I have a problem with, and maybe it's just because I am a goober, so enlighten me if you can. I don't like that I am stuck with every ship I buy. Like last night I bought my new ship at that other star system and now my old ship is sitting at that station and my money is gone. It really does me no good sitting there and I want to sell it back.

Plus there is no net worth stat to give Hurricane another shiny.

I'm thinking I'll buy a bullfrog then take a trip out to get that other ship, this way I can leave my Longfin at home in case I decide I want to fly it. Also I'll dump the bullfrog after I buy a new ship at a station that I don't concider home buy just dragging it off to the side and saying yes, delete this option. If I remember right the bullfrog don't cost anything?

Yeah, I still want to be able to re-sell my old ships back to stations.

The ship I have now is a sunfish or something like that.

Have you tried going to eden and seeing if they buy ships there? I can try tonight once I get home as well

I tried. Once you try to drag the ship it just switches you to that ship.

I thought I saw some ships up for consignment, though I haven't really figured that out in the slightest. It takes a metric buttonne of time to load and I don't have a lot of money/know what the crap is.

drag the ship icon to the station storage and than sell it, remember to unequip any iten on teh ship and remove all itens from the ship container prior to sell it.

then you can't sell it, most likely. I know, it's kind of odd how most of the markets are buy only...

Maybe they are not when you reach a certain threshold. I know I never saw commodities until I got the bigger ship.

Ok, I was able to haul my bullfrog II in my sunfish to Venus and sell it.

However, my Sherah wouldn't fit so I am stuck with it till I get a freighter.
