Pilot Log for Grizwald "GrimGriz" Gonzalez - 05.11.27

I received a bounty message over galaxy communications channel indicating the Solrain had placed a bounty on pilot -Menace- at Oct Core. The following f5 chatter indicated that pilot Natascha had been downed by -Menace- for tuning untuned Octavian beacons to the Solrain frequency. I proceeded to Octavian Space in search of the bountied pilot. On the way, I stopped at Evenings End and obtained a Solrain BCU to facilitate locating the bountied pilot.

While in search of pilot -Menace-, I tuned gray beacons to blue and communicated with a Solrain operative who was monitoring for BOUNTY messages issued by the beacons. Prior to locating the bountied pilot, I encountered 3 pilots from squad OV: (to the best of my recollection) dailatron, Magnus-Ex, and Argyris. I was told by one of the pilots (dailatron I believe) that I would be die if I attacked the bountied pilot. I responded that I had died before and I would die again. I continued to tune the untuned beacons blue.

Whether it was to retune the beacons I had tuned blue, or some other matter, the 3 OV pilots split up, and only pilot Argyris was left in proximity to me. He opened fire on me after I had flipped a beacon near Dark Fork and was assigned a temporary bounty. After jumping through the next gate and allowing my shields to recharge, I engaged pilot Argyris and my Typhoon was destroyed. Quantar placed a bounty on him.

I made my way back to Octavian space. A PR check on the relevant pilots revealed that -Menace- was making an effort to restore Solrain PR. Since my initial run had ruled out Mokk's battlefield as the location of that activity, I correctly presumed it was being done in the Orrus sectors near Oct Core. Upon arriving at Oct Core I again encountered and engaged Argyris. He fled to nearby Orrus Major where other Octavians and the conflux menace waited patiently to assist. Unfortunately, the conflux menace got the final shot on my vessel, and no further bounties were assigned.

On my next trip to the area, after damaging both bountied pilots into armor I was shot down by -Menace- who acquired a Quantar bounty. Regretfully, pressing matters needed to be attended to, and I was unable to return to Octavian space after that incident.
