Joystick Throttle problem.
Well, on my side Jumpgate DOES recognize that slider thing...
I m on a SpeedLink - Black Widow. Its the same problem others descripe: throttle is programmed, but it wont work. It stays 50%.. once it just jumped 0% when i moved it I dont know what to do The solution that worket earlier was, that i used WIN98. It worked beautiful then. But yet i dont want to install win98, i wanna search for another solution first.. edit Okay found out something. If i map the acceleration to the sidewards throttle (rolling, its the AXIS RZ, its on the same axis field as the throttle, on windows..), it just urns FINE. to be on full acceleration i have to hold it to the left all the time.. thats.. it.. if i do the rolling on the throttle, it just rolls left when i put it up, and right when i put it down. |

Many people are using the Saitek X52. I'm sure someone here has a solution and will chime in with some help.

I think his point that his throttle problem wasn't with an X52. I'd still recommend trying the same solution though: Set it to something else, fly a little bit, and then set it back to the throttle. If that fails, I'd e-mail pilot support.

To clear it up: 1st: My speed throttling doesnt go as i like it. 2nd: In the options menu, the automatic setting for throtteling is "Slider" 2nd/2: If i fly with the slider setting, speed is ALWAYS 50% 3rd: If i set the RZ Axis (my speed throttle), it just stays 0% and nothing. 4th: If i set the RY Axis (the rolling maneuver thingie), it just goes well, but i have to hold it to the left to stay at 100% speed, middle is 50.. right is 0% 5th: if i set my RZ to the rolling maneuver, my ship rolls when i put the throttle slider up or down.. in the middle it stays still. 6th: The roll-slider-thingie rolls just well. Im telling that with the RY axis because theyre on the same axis pair in windows (that white square)... Ill edit the "fly with other buttons and then map it back" thing in later. |
