Yes I am a noob and still trying to learn all of this, but if a POS owner destroys his or her station does he or she get reimbursed the money it cost to buy it?

No, it's all lost in process. Same goes for all Modules you add on it.

That is correct. I used to have close to 500 milliion until I closed my station at Sol Core and Moved down near Quant Space. :> Now I have 240 million
