Saitek X52 Troubles

Having problems here with a new X52. Trying to get back into the game with the new stick but i'm having the seemingly common throttle problem. I've tried changing to bands, tried switching throttle to a key and then back to throttle but neither seem to work. Any assistance specifically with getting the throttle setting would be appreciated.
