I'll be signed up by the end of next week. I decided to quit at the store so I wouldn't sacrified performance at my new job, so I'll have some free time (gasp). Except my joystick is useless and I'm looking at a replacement. I'll avoid Jump's wrath and make a new thread if you'd care to make a suggestion.

I'm getting no reply to any emails regarding my JOSSH forum access. So I guess Virgil's changing of my password to lock me out is going to stand. No matter, it's not like they can shut me up or anything.

Jump, I'm not even sure Virgil bothers with Jumpgate anymore. Why Netdevil still puts up with most of Themis is beyond me.
(The "most" qualifier going in there because losing Themis would mean losing Khronos and Omega - who, despite part-time status, are still the best thing to ever happen to this game.) |

Virgil is involved with the test program at this time, that's why he's not seen by the general Jumpgate population.
As for Themis as a whole, while their failings are crowed about far and wide by Jumpgate players, that's hardly the whole of what they do. Going by personal experience in other places, for every situation where someone's complaining about some aspect or other of officialdom that was suboptimal, there's at least 4-5 instances when someone was taken care of with no fuss, but don't comment in public on it. It's human nature, pretty much, that when someone makes a good meal, you (generic "you") don't really thank them, but if they screw it up, you're right up in the cook's face bitching about how they screwed it up. *waiting for "TG fanboi!" accusations* |
