as far as i know, these pilots are in the squad... balrog ...and who in the world could really tell one way or another whether they used to play in some other squad as different accounts? We might as well just say they do steroids, cuz they hit home runs

Well its not -=Scream=- or Wizard401, and last i heard Dark826 and Epsilon were playing SWG and World of Warcraft. The other pilots were never big on civ ripping, well Dark Prince might do but he was banned, plus I am to busy to play.

Thank you Spacemonk. I didn't truely think it was THE BORG come back, much less Unbreakable, but I knew by throwing the possibility out it would get more attention.

You'd think after over three years of this it would neither surprise or anger me, but it does. I enjoyed being left alone when OAS was a squad to be reckoned with. I didn't start stuff and seldom got stuff dumped on me either. Such is no longer the case.

I am also more than a little irritated that the current premier Octavian Factionalist squad is so cozy with these terrorists. "The Enemy of my Enemy is not my Enemy" should be their battle cry. The terrorists were in The Gurge before I gated into EE and they followed me in. I allowed them to dock and then launched from the gate, only to have one launch from the station and down me without warning as I was in the docking pattern.

Okay, it's their RP and I'll learn to live with it or work around it. I've outlasted the above mentioned Borg as well as Unbreakable and multiple other squads and pilots I've had problems with in the past. As Robert Heinlein said "the best revenge is a long life". Don't know if he originated the phrase, but that's where I first read it. Enough

Never played on EU so don't know, but they are Germans as i flew with a few during the WOW. Unbereakable pilots, regardless of cheating or not had some decent flying skills and atleast sold the "we own the server", other than i could never land a shot on them. These guys are quite diffrent they show lack of skill especially in group combat, in wow a saw a few them turn so early that the pilot getting chased made them FF away for having thier back turned to them to early.

The balrog seem to not communicate ingame what so ever. Atleast not on f5 or f3 or f4. With that said then you must ask how does balrog set up gate camps with OA/OV(i've walked into a OA/OV fleet on the other side of a gate were a balrog was hanging around, on multiple ocassions on the same day, and other days). Obviously for this gate camp to be set up thier must be some sort of communication between these pilot wether they want to admit it or not.

From the breif history that i've been informed about the EU server, i believe the die hans/patan pilots used similar tactics and had a "loose alliance"(I would say they are allied if they fight together, setup gate camps, communicate, shoot the same enemies, and not each other, but as i don't want this to turn into another flame will call it loose) with OV/OA. Die hans/patan also kept strictly to unreg(not sure if they flew civ or hg, if someone could confirm this that would be great) picked on the weak, ran from the strong and fought allong side the octs.

Im not drawling any conclusions here, just presenting what i know, and heard.

Blarul is ex-DIE PATEN, i havent seen him round space but i can pretty much guess hes flying a bomber. Bombers and nuking freighters, thats what die spamse and die crappen flew, their main tactic being gatecamps with MS spam, then ff-dock for a refill.
As for allying with the Octs, while dp never seemed to get shot at by octs, dh were, constantly, with dp not helping either side.
As for UB, cos they had numbers, the octs had no problems working with them despite constant denials. 'If you cant gank them, join them, then gank someone else' was the key phrase of Oct tactics on EU, to the almost total detriment of many others pvp fun up till the point of UB getting summarily banned.

Back to Balrog, or any similar squad, i guess its easier just to expect the worst and then you dont get disappointed

Both mostly correct on all fronts.
EU we hated Die Spams, Die Paten were second account Octa Dragons so at the time it was awkward, but as Zaz said they were shooting our enemies so we left em.
UB were a different matter, as I didn't like their style of gameplay, basically killing **** no matter who they were. In EU remember, this was unreg, US pretty much anywhere. Stat whores. But at the same time we, contrary to common belief, didn't actually engage in combat at the same time against the same people that often.
With Die Paten(the claimed Balrog) we did have occasional F5's, UB very rarely until the very end before some got banned.
People have loose alliances, like you say Corn. It doesn't mean we are in each others' pockets. Btw, Wild_B, Balrog have been warned to leave Octs, everywhere in space. I'm easy to contact should you have information. My apologies that I didn't respond to you on Jossh Forum. I was too busy laughing at my wingmen getting banned.
Sometimes it is inevitable that we end up doing the same thing as others at the same time.
Sometimes it is cool like sex, sometimes it is shooting the same enemy with big guns and causing flammage after.

Regards
Al

Not true Al. Its the same when i write "Die Paten" were second accounts from OV cause you had also one from your squad in DP.

Octa Dragons joined at the end of the eu-server with second accounts "Die Hanse". It was fun for me to fought against OV but it was a little bit strange, what u wrote on your squadpage then. U know what i mean.

And when u call us "Die Spams" dont forget to say, most of the time, we were totally outnumbered and YOU teached me, stay close to a gate with an Octship, cause missiles are very dangerous for us.

btw.: I still read the forums from Jumpgate and i see nothing changed. When u win you are a lamer or a cheater. I think i must create a new account. Any chance to join OV Al?

Octs flying with Balrog

Nice, very nice!

We got outnumbered 1:2 by oct alone and what are this whimps doing? They team up with Balrog to gank us to hell! I take this as a compliment, because you must fear us so much that you need this numbers to get some kills!

regards
