There's a "movement" over on the Jumpgate Evolution forums for people -- both former Jumpgate Classic players and new Jumpgate Evolution prospects alike -- to reactivate or create trial accounts and log-on en-masse tonight in an effort to "crash the server."

I have no idea whether this means we'll see an additional 10 people or 100 people. Obviously, neither will crash the server. So I'm just spreading to word here in case anyone is intereted in participating.

I'll watch the online numbers. It'd be funny if you really did crash the server and ND shut it down rather then getting it running again...obviously there'd have to be a big problem, but it would indeed be funny if people screwed themselves like that.

Windy is in AqM . . . but I think your impersonation may still have an effect. He was shooting Feldman last night -- the new Winsdtar is a WILDman!

So if you don't log in to Crash the Jumpgate Classic Server night, you could be missing out BIG time!

LOL, not very far. There was a handful of new and/or reactivated people from what I saw. The most notable thing was that there were still about 30 or 40 people online at 12:30/ 1am (ET) -- which never happens these days.

I've seen more people in Counterstrike servers :P

The game is dead, no matter how many people say otherwise, peaking at 40 people with a map that big is just too low. If there were maybe 1/4 the sectors, MAYBE that could be entertaining, but as is....dead
