The "Istvan Update" was the first I'd heard that the non-PvP crowd hadn't been ignored entirely. I understand that the game is primarily oriented towards the PvP crowd. I am a non-combat pilot (more due to a lack of skill/hand-eye coordination than to any Carebear sensibilities) and I make no bones about it. Having said that, I'm very intersted in anything this game may offer for the non-PvP crowd and giving those of us who are combat-impaired a reason to log on.

I'm not going into rant-mode at this time. I'm just going to say I appreciate anything done to support those of us who are not combat pilots.

As a side not, since I know this is partially a tool to peak the interests of former players and encourage them to return. When you click on the link to continue reading Istvans post. At the bottom you have a link to some replies he made to the encouragement he received. Well that link is no good to those that have yet to return. Just Thought I would point that put as you may not realize it.

The best thing to do is email darkspace@jgcentral.net. That way I can change it on Jumpgate Classic as well as in my mailer address list. Unfortunately, the mailing list is a manual process derived from Jumpgate Classic registrants and other requesters -- it's not automated from the user db.
