Depot ship storage idea

Single ship store at depot station
Suggestion: The addition of personal 1 ship storage for all at a players respective depot station. Fuctionaly like we have with a hanger modx for pos's, but just the 1 spare ship and available to all from noob to vet without additional purchase requirements.

I think that with the military patch, factional resources are becoming more important again and having the ability to store just a single ship (+fitted equipment) at the depot (in addition to the one your flying) will breath a little life and usefulness back into these structures, structures that died a little with the advent of the pos and its greater storage potential.

One way this could be facilitated easily (I guess) is by removing the abilty to buy ships at the depot station and moving any unique ship purchases that are there now (I cant remember if there are any) elswhere within that factions space. The ship purchase screens could then be used to access and retreive/swap ships like we can with the hanger modx for pos's.

If its not a popular idea to remove the abilty to buy ships at the depot for this, then it would require more of a coding effort. But I for one think it would be good to do and good for Jumpgate.

Im thinking this idea would be a good addition to Jumpgate, one that would benifit noob and vet alike. What do you think?

I still vastly prefer this idea, but agree with the sentiment that depot stations have been worthless since the advent of POS.
